Last week, the AstraZeneca vaccine trials were resumed in the United States.
This week, according to Reuters, AstraZeneca have confirmed the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency’s (MHRA) accelerated rolling review of their potential COVID-19 vaccine.
The staff at major hospitals in London have apparently been told to be ready to receive the first batches of the vaccine as early as the week commencing 02 November, as reported by The Sun on Monday, October 26, 2020.

China’s CanSino Biologics chose middle and lower-income countries to test the safety and efficacy of its experimental COVID-19 vaccine candidate. The vaccine is currently being trialled in Russia, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Mexico. According to the South China Morning Post, the last participant in these Phase 3 trials is expected to get the jab at the end of November, before the tests are wrapped up in July next year.
